Firstly, I want to quote some of my expression on my daily reflections that our beloved professor Jeff have a devotedly manner and great patience to instruct student about the difficult and new CALL terms. I really highly appreciated that and I want to thank you again as I myself have really enjoyed your lessons from which I learned some useful and applicable thing such as uploading files to the blog or designing and using website EFL537.com. Thanks to Jeff's clear instruction, I have learned and practiced all the great functions provided in this Website.
I have used to internet for a long time but frankly, it is the first time I am myself owned and access to many accounts on many sites within a strong aim and in advance orders: Blogger, gmail, delicious, slideshares, twitter, ning... During the time of doing my assignments, I really like doing on Google document in writing information to share. With bookmark on Delicious, and Presentation on Slideshare, activity & quiz creation on Hot Potatoes as well are effective pages for my teaching Job. Especially audio recording and editing with creating mp3 files bring me a new relax in emotion.
Indeed all of us have been known that this term is short time. It only lengthens for two weeks of Fall 2009. Though, I do believe to report with you that you have leaded successfully in creation tasks for habituating us control, operate to valuable extra materials on computer - internet. It is not never simple and easy for me to set up all tasks of CALL without your enthusiastic assistance. And it seems to begin for the thing never ends when now and then, everyday I am familiar with using CALL in any time I access my computer.
Finally, I want to give some words to members of the following Vietnamese cohorts that all of you do not worry about CALL. Perhaps, this subject is a challenge for all of us. Naturally, I am sure everything can be overcome if you keep your eyes from the first operations of day 1 until last time. Step by step you should follow professor' instruction, read carefully and it is not less important part that all members of the cohort should share and do together in a warm atmosphere and in patience./.

Reflection of reading review 4
How will you feel? in the case, most of all your students have difficulty with communicating English language. Frankly, this is a remained problem of the desribing poor quality of teaching Speaking skill at schools or Universities in Vietnam. There are many ways to change in advance, such as, reading in speaking lesson, pictures or playing crosswords... But one more effective method is utilising technology into teaching method - Computer Assisted Language Learning and teaching.
Another word is similar to an article: “Using technology to teach speaking and pronunciation skills”. Very this instruction is a remarkable advice for our to follow that published on forum. This is an valuable instruction of Chi – Fen Emily Chen on EFL Reading list. In my university’s schedure, I like to teach Speaking skill very much. But my everyday lessons most of us only bring learner some monotomous activities without computer at class. Therefore, the learners always feel not comfortable and nervous when they are requested to say or pronounce. Using computer – internet has advantages for beginning level or for the more useful advance. My sister is also an English teacher at Secondary school. She has an opportunity to teach English with powerpoint. The lessons are taught with many beautiful , colorful contents and focus on exactly pronunciation. Correcting pronunciation is often the learners to say again by again. They are eager to speak , pronunce as well.
To summary, I want to emphasize that it is important role of computer – internet onto teaching language skills. Indeed the modern technology can help all of learners achieve in pronunciation and Speaking . Computer is used as a tutor, a Communication Medium, and an Instructional Tool./.

"Game online will develop EFL students' language skills". It is becoming a remarkable teaching trend for all teachers. This also resulted in some reflective opinions that has come to my mind after reading the article: "Language Learners & Computer Games" of author Graham Stanley on http://www.slideshare.net/begstanley/wiaoc2007-games-may-2007. Being an English teacher at the college, I wish to apply this method into my teaching strategy when many features of modern computer - internet technologies have been popularized explosively over the world.
The first is the value of foreign language learning in playing games. I have same ideas with the author that there are many different types of online computer games but not at all are allowed to teach. And there are many advantages of game online, such as, game for training,advertising, simulation,and game for education. The combining between learning and playing is used effectively since the players learn to play. That means is they are to learn a new literacy if they want to know how the game is.In my Vietnamese country, I find this way is only carried out at under schools- kindergartens.Most of children from 4 to 6 years old are familiar with multiple choice in active and colorful picture games. The teachers and children can watch and write as well as read loudly together about main words, short phrases that a particular task within the games needs. The teachers usually lead them to do with work in different group activities. They have to apply virtual words( specially Second life ), or use their imagination to complete the games... for instance.
In conclusion, I cannot pretend not to know the fact that there are much of communication in virtual English words. From game online, it is widely accepted that language has been used flexibly and effectively in the world of game with various typical actions and dialogues. Pleasure and emotional involvement are central to thinking and learning, including all four skills: Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing. It would be possible, applicable and benifitable to set up language teaching methods based on educational games at college. This can only be done when all the teachers understand and have enough interest to work together on this new topic in the very near future./.

Reflection of day 8
Hi my professor and all my classmates,
I find it industrious to access computer- internet from 8 a.m until now. It is for about 5 hours since I have opened my owned computer. I shared all information of day 8 through chat in room on line.We started lesson with an interesting chat part. I think this morning my professor make confusing with my nick name. It was fun when he thought me to be a guest.But no problem,perhaps it was only a joke.Then, all of us emphasized on giving some questions of today's task.Thanks Mr Jeff for your gradual helps. Now, I have already given some comments to my classmates'blogger(Thuy,Yen, Hatrinh).According to instruction, I created my account (nganhathinguyen)on Twitter.com. However, I have not yet added my account to EFL537.Anybody in class, who have done it,please show to me! For the wonderful life, I say many time: Thank you everybody.

Reflection of day 7
Hello Mr Jeff and everyone,
I felt to lack of relax when I did not know how to operate the task creating a slidecast of day 7.There were some mistakes while I accessed. Although I have not carried out my task yet, I would like to thanks to some of my classmates ( Minh Trinh, Minh Hoang, Thanh Mai and Thuy) for their help.Because of limited time at class,
Reading carefully your instruction and combining my classmates'assistances, My Professor, I will do again when I come back home. And I will post it in the evening.
The 7th day was passed, I have been learnt something new about CALL.//

Reflection of day 6
Hello professor Jeff and everyone,
This day was fast for me. All of us focused on studying at Social bookmarking page.Our task was to creat 30 sites into this page. We were eager to do together in a warm asmostpher. After the period of time, I also finished the task.Oh, my task 5 and 6 of last week have been already successed. Mr Jeff, You can check my activity at EFL 537 blogpost and my presentation at http://wwwslideshare.net/galaxy117.This afternoon I will have to do rest of assignments of day 6.Maybe,I hope it will be midnight at my country,I will finish them.
I think my week is beginning with many interesting things. I myself have my owned sign and symbol: raising my hands for overcoming anything confusing.

Reflection of reading review 2
Thank you so much for professor' instruction from an article about "CALL": Computer - Assisted Language Learning of the author Chichi - Fen Emily. I can see obviously that there are many applying advantages of modern computer - internet technology to our real life. Here is really a perfect instruction for all of us when we begin accessing and habituating to operate the computer - internet.
I think what we have been studying CALL, such as desktop management, social bookmarking, activity & quiz creation...will be the most useful application of the computer - internet in my teaching and learning English. With many convenient features: Computer as tutor for language drills or skill practice; as a tool for writing, presenting, and researching; as a medium of global communication ,step by step I understand how to do and have been applying in my daily working.
One again, I want to emphasize that I am also the same millions of people use CALL everyday to make personal contacts, distribute academic lessons or assignments with delivery of content ( Power point, word – processor, web pages,etc.) and use widely in class group activities. I realize that the world knowledge seems to room out into individual computer - internet./.

Day 5 - Reflection
Hi my professor Jeff and everyone,
This day was the 5th lesson day. I went to school with my nervous feeling because yesterday I could not go to school to share information as well as tasks with my classmates. Most of classmates have already finished exercises and signed in efl537 class list except me and some people. Maybe that was main reason I had to focus on doing. I could not contact with my professor Jeff so I spent all time trying to do more two tasks: Task 3 and task 4.I created 3 call sites at Social bookmarking and making an MP3 file at Audio recording & Editing. Besides, I and Mai were a group to do a task for the day 5. We created an mp3 file together that both of us had spoken some sentence for answering three questions related to access contents on computer- internet at class.
Actually,It was a busy day for me to finish some tasks. Now, I feel relaxer, less pressure to submit all my exercises. Mr Jeff, all my creations in these tasks have been changed by my positive using computer - internet. When overcoming confuse I say to myself is raising my hand any time I operate my computer- internet.
One time again, thanks a lot for your assistance to my changing traditional teaching job./.

"You are learning English today, you are in luck... Spend a lot of time on the Web... Read websites on favorite topic..." These are some information of the author Tomasz P.Szynalski in C Tomasz P.Szynalski, Antimoon. com at the article named"How I learned English in the Pre- Internet age and why you can do it faster" when the author discusses about means of learning English. This article seems to be effective instructions about advantages of computer - internet for everyone using.
The story occurs in the 1990s years when the computer- internet have not been yet created. As the same my country, I and everyone did not know except books. I am myself an old generation without modern technologies. I remember learning and reading all my subjects from school books. For 15 years ago when I was in grade 10, I began learning English at the high school. Actually, I used to learn at home by my mother's assistance when I was 10 years old. My mother habituated me to learn simple English words or sentences from some books. But there were only few English books for me to read in my house. I was eager for comprehension however my extra materials for English subject was often spare.
In the 2000s year, computer - internet technologies have been explored and widen over the world. I become an English teacher and find out many benefits of these modern technologies. I do agree with the author Tomasz that all our old generation are at a disadvantage with modern generation about access into computer - internet for everything new. I wish I had had access to all contents when I was learning English at school. There are many different websites with various content pages for learners to approach. Computer - internet are very really convenient as well as comfortable for users. They bring world knowledge to you and me around wherever we go, whenever we do and whoever we are. But it is not too late for me when I read and refer many information, make copyable printed materials as well for my teacher job everyday.
Conclusion, in my opinion I do think computer - internet technologies do become positive power only when all of us know how to use. So they really useful and good for limited mind of ours./.

Good afternoon my professor and everyone,
At today class, I always observed and chatted the information with my teacher on line for checking what I did. I felt relaxer after my professor had confirmed about my previously finished tasks.
Frankly, I want to express some words about today lesson. It was a real challenge but very exciting for me to do.Beside writing daily reflection and comment an article about how the way of learning English, all of us had six tasks that we have to access some pages, such as, Creating a owned new folder file with attaching picture's Hoankiem lake at Desktop Management page; Creating a google doc and share at Google Doc;Making bookmark at least 3 call sites at Social Bookmarking; Creating an mp3 file at Audio Recording and Editing; Creating a hot potatoes activity at Activity and quiz creation; And creating a presentation at Presentation page. Most of work is tested by sending EFL537.com except last task was requested to send slideshare. At the beginning of the lesson I myself was eager to read and followed my instructor, Mr Jeff on line. The day in my country has been passing instead of a new day. Tomorrow is usually better. The lesson in this morning was a bit confused for me to finish. It was a bit difficult for me to create my email on g mail.com as well as blog on blogger. But finally it was all right when I can control my own computer. I am grateful for my two projectors at class. And I feft glad to see my professor though the link was not so good. He looked friendly with warm smiling. All my class tried to communicate with him by chatting and calling on internet. The first day was passed rapidly as a result I have known my task about this term while I read professor's request. Thanks so much for my professor's conduction and instruction. For my broaden minded, I will try to finish all assignments on time .
